Calendula Flowers (Calendula officinalis): Calendula or also commonly known as pot marigold is excellent for healthy heart maintenance. It’s also beneficial to the digestive system. It helps soothe the inflammation caused by irritation to the stomach lining and bowels. Calendula is also antiviral and long been prized by many herbalists for its ability to cleans and detoxify the body, in particular the liver and gallbladder. Calendula has anti-bacterial properties that assist with fighting off colds as well as assisting with toning the lymphatic system.
Herbal Actions: Anti-inflammatory, astringent, vulnerary, cholagogue and anti-fungal
